Please Support My Drive!
 
You've tried the default configuration of DJ Twist & Burn and it still does not support your drive.  The journey is not yet over.  Try the following:
0. Download & install the latest version of DJ Twist & Burn.
1. Run DJ Twist & Burn
2. Click "Preferences" from the "File" menu
3. Select "General".  You should see the following screen.
4. Click the "Goldenhawk Drive Override" button
5. Click the dropdown and select the drive you'd like to support. (IMPORTANT: MAKE SURE THAT IT IS YOUR CD or DVD WRITER!!!)
6. First try and get it supported generically.  Click the "Use A Generic CD Writer Driver".  (IMPORTANT: Select this even if you have a DVD Writer!)
7. At this point, click "OK" and restart Acoustica MP3 CD Burner.

NOTE: If the software crashes or will not load, please delete the file called "DEVICES.DEF" located in your DJ Twist & Burn folder.  (Default is C:\Program Files\DJ Twist And Burn\)

If it's supported and you can burn a test CD, you can try adjusting the speeds by looking up your drive via Google and matching the write speed, rewrite speed and read speed.
8. If it still doesn't work or work properly, you can try to match the drive by a similar model CD or DVD writer that is supported.  (For example, DVD burning will not work with the generic drivers)
9. Select "Use The Driver For This Drive Type"
10. You'll need to find a similar drive to the one you have.  In this case, we are matching the NEC with another NEC model.  You may need try many models to get one that works.
11. Click OK and restart the software.

NOTE: If the software crashes or will not load, please delete the file called "DEVICES.DEF" located in your MP3 CD Burner folder.  (Default is C:\Program Files\DJ Twist And Burn\)

12. Contact Support and let us know if you are still having problems or can't get it recognized!
