To access the new sound effects, in Mixcraft click on the Help menu followed by "Check For Updates," or download the latest version available now at www.acoustica.com/mixcraft/.

These music beds & sound effects are FREE and will show up in your Mixcraft library. Go to your Library tab and change category to "SongKit." Click on "Music Beds," "Sound Effects," or "Sound Effects Ambiences."

Recording audio is one of these things; adding MIDI with piano roll editing is another.
