AI NOISE REDUCTION

Mixcraft 11 can remove background noise from audio recordings using a deep-learning model — hiss, hum, room rumble, fan noise, and other steady-state junk are stripped away while the performance is preserved.

USING AI NOISE REDUCTION

Select an audio clip, then choose AI > Remove Noise From Vocals from the Sound menu or the audio clip right-click menu. (The AI submenu also contains Stem Separation.)

  • The settings dialog provides threshold and sensitivity controls, plus an Amount slider.

  • Real-time preview lets you hear the result before committing.

  • A Cancel button is available while the effect renders.

  • Long files are processed in blocks, so even multi-minute recordings render reliably.

AI features require the AI Pack download (delivered separately so it doesn't bloat the main installer) and a Pro Studio edition. Items in the AI submenu are enabled once the model is installed. Processing is GPU-accelerated where available — up to 10x faster than CPU.

STANDARD NOISE REDUCTION

Mixcraft's standard (non-AI) noise reduction has been modernized too: the algorithm now preserves phase and uses a more accurate noise profile, which eliminates the "musical noise" fluttery artifacts the old version could produce. Existing projects automatically re-render with the improved algorithm the next time you adjust their noise reduction settings.
