GUITAR TAB DIAGRAMS

Switch the chord lane to Tab mode and every chord displays as a guitar tablature diagram with proper fingerings — great for guitarists reading a progression, or for figuring out how to voice a keyboard part on guitar.

READING THE DIAGRAMS

Diagrams show the nut (always the thick line at the top), fret numbers, finger dots with the root highlighted, and open/muted string markers. Barre chords render as rows of same-fret dots. When a chord sits up the neck, a bold fret-position indicator (such as "6fr") shows where — and it automatically shrinks to fit multi-digit fret numbers.

INSTRUMENTS AND TUNINGS

The Voicing dropdown in the chord lane header selects from 12+ instrument and tuning presets, saved per clip:

  • Standard Guitar

  • Ukulele

  • Bass Guitar

  • 5-String Bass

  • Banjo

  • Mandolin

  • 7-String Guitar

  • Drop D

  • DADGAD

  • Open G

  • Open D

  • Open E

  • Open C

Extended chord types (dom9, min9, and friends) automatically fall back to simpler voicings when a full voicing isn't available for the selected instrument. Inverted chords look up matching guitar voicings where they exist.

TABS BEYOND THE CHORD LANE

Tablature can also be shown in the lyric window, so a singer-guitarist can follow lyrics and chord fingerings together in one view.
