ARA PLUGIN SUPPORT (PRO STUDIO)

Mixcraft 11 Pro Studio includes full ARA2 (Audio Random Access) plugin support for deep integration with pitch and time editors such as Celemony Melodyne, Antares Auto-Tune Pro, and Synchro Arts VocAlign. Where a normal insert effect only sees audio as it streams by, an ARA plugin can read the whole clip at once — enabling note-by-note pitch editing, polyphonic correction, and time alignment directly inside Mixcraft.

USING ARA PLUGINS

Right-click an audio clip and choose the ARA edit command (for example, Edit With Melodyne), or use the Sound menu. Mixcraft detects ARA support automatically during VST3 plugin scanning, and ARA plugin lists in menus are sorted alphabetically.

  • Multi-clip editing — select multiple audio clips and open them together in a single ARA session.

  • Melodyne Multi-Track — edit multiple tracks simultaneously in one Melodyne session, so you can tune harmonies against each other with all parts visible.

  • Performance Panel support — ARA plugins work directly on Performance Panel clips, with pre-rendering.

  • Automatic refresh — when you edit a clip in Mixcraft (reverse, trim, crossfade, and so on), Mixcraft notifies the ARA plugin that its cached audio is stale so it re-reads automatically. No manual refresh needed.

  • Preview while stopped — Melodyne preview playback runs even when Mixcraft's transport is stopped, so you can audition edits in real time.
